Lit: A Memoir

Lit: A Memoir - Mary Karr This is my favorite of Mary's works. I think in part because she portrays recovery for the arduous task it often is. She acknowledges the fear, anger, frustration, and mess that goes with trying to stay sober one day at a time. But she ultimately affirms that we do recover.
