Gone with the Wind - Margaret Mitchell I'm glad I took Mr. Pat Conroy's advice and read Gone with the Wind. While I'm not sure that I agree with his mother that Gone with the Wind is the greatest accomplishment in Southern literature, it is certainly far better than the antebellum rendition of Jane Austin I feared it would be.
